Description

An exceptional showcase of nonfiction work, VR Day @ Doc Stories is an exploration of virtual reality filmmaking. With a focus on short-form documentary, the program will bring together leading VR creators and inventive new films that dive into social and cultural issues. Experience these cutting-edge stories on Samsung Gear and Google Cardboard, and, at 5:00, join CNN and our featured VR filmmakers for an in-depth conversation investigating the future of the medium.

Tickets grant access to specific hour-long time slots, allowing participants to experience 3 curated films on Samsung Gear. Attendees will also be able to watch VR stories on Google Cardboard on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the day. All ticket holders are welcome to attend Filmmakers in Conversation: Nonfiction VR, an onstage discussion from 5:00–6:00 pm.
