2025 SFFILM Festival Press Accreditation
Press accreditation for the 68th San Francisco International Film Festival (also known as SFFILM Festival) is now open. The deadline for 2025 SFFILM Festival Press Accreditation Applications is 5 PM PT on Monday, March 31. All media—journalists, critics, photographers, and content creators—including those who have been accredited in the past, are required to fill out a new application.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by email by Friday, April 4. The SFFILM Press Office grants press accreditation to a limited number of media each year. Please note that press accreditation is necessary in order to request interviews and film screeners.

If accreditation is granted, benefits include:
- Complimentary tickets to select public screenings. (Restrictions apply; more information will be provided upon approval.)
- Access to online screeners for select films when available and at the discretion of the film teams.
- Access to SFFILM Festival Lounge and interview spaces.
- Access to press lines and photo calls. (Restrictions apply; limitations may impact the number of journalists and/or photographers per line.)

SFFILM welcomes members of the media to cover our events as newsworthy and interesting to a wide array of audiences. Members of the media are expected to abide by the SFFILM Code of Conduct when engaging with our staff, guests, filmmakers, partners, or any persons affiliated with an SFFILM event they are covering. Due to the nature of our work together to facilitate both coverage and access, members of the media are expected to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior common in journalism including accuracy, person to person respect, and clarity in communication.
