Description
Ru Wen last saw her parents when she was five years old. She resisted searching for them for the next four decades, until her filmmaker daughter, Tiffany, started asking questions. Spanning 14 years, this documentary chronicles Tiffany’s travels to Taiwan in search of lost family.

Tiffany Hsiung is a Toronto-based filmmaker who made her documentary feature debut with the Peabody Award-winning The Apology (2016). Sing Me a Lullaby, her latest work, won the Toronto International Film Festival’s Share Her Journey Award, the Directors Guild of Canada’s Best Short Film Award, DOC NYC’s Best Short Documentary Award, and other honors.
