53rd San Francisco International Film Festival Announces 2010 Sponsors

The 53rd San Francisco International Film Festival is proud and honored to have outstanding support in 2010. This year has brought the Festival new and innovative partnerships and once again secured returning support from numerous individuals and organizations. Sponsors enable SFIFF and the San Francisco Film Society to thrive, expand and ensure that an extraordinary showcase of cinematic discovery reaches Festival audiences.

PREMIER SPONSORS
SFIFF congratulates Wells Fargo for its exemplary support of all the major arts and cultural organizations across the Bay Area. Wells Fargo is a longtime supporter of the Film Society’s Schools at the Festival program, Community Outreach efforts and Membership Program.

PRESENTING SPONSORS
The Festival is delighted to welcome its newest sponsors BNY Mellon Wealth Management and ZonePerfect Nutrition Bars, this year’s Audience Awards sponsor. ZonePerfect Nutrition Bars will be distributed throughout the Festival. San Simeon Films is supporting the screenings of The Practice of the Wild and Blue Angel Vodka, America’s next top vodka, returns as the Festival’s Official Vodka and will be featured throughout SFIFF at designated events and venues. Stella Artois is the ongoing Official Beer of SFIFF and continues to show its support for independent film by sponsoring the Shorts section of the Festival. Contemporary French cinema has continued sponsorship from TV5 Monde; Cultural Services, Consulate General of France; the French-American Cultural Society in San Francisco with additional support this year from Bank of the West.

The Festival is honored to welcome back Visa as a corporate partner supporting the SFFS Youth Education program, in particular Schools at the Festival and Film Society Awards Night. The Festival is pleased to have year-round support from Esurance as sponsor of the animation, design and technology programs in the Festival and the San Francisco International Animation Festival in the fall each year. SFIFF longtime partners, the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office of San Francisco and Cathay Pacific Airways are returning as supporters of the Hong Kong films in the Festival, Teddy Chen’s Bodyguards and Assassins and Johnnie To’s Vengeance. 

Magnanimus Wine Group is the Official Wine presenting a green portfolio of sustainable, organic and biodynamic wines. This year, Mendocino Farms and Chameleon Cellars wine brands will be featured throughout the Festival.
