Public Transportation & Parking

SFMOMA is located near the Montgomery Street and Powell Street stations for BART and SF Muni Light Rail.
 
Many bus lines have stops within a block of the museum near the intersection of 3rd St & Mission St, including the 8, 8AX, 8BX, 14, 14R, 15, 30, 45, 91, 101, 130, and 150. The Transbay Transit Center is only two blocks away.
 
SFMOMA’s garage at 147 Minna Street is a few steps from the museum’s entrance on Third Street. Parking onsite directly supports the museum and its programs.

SFMOMA members receive 25% discount and non-members are offered a 10% discount*. Please visit the Haas Jr. Atrium on Floor 1 for validation.
*Note: parking discounts are only available for the first 3.5 hours — anything after 3.5 hours is a flat rate of $26 for up to 12 hours.

The museum and Phyllis Wattis Theater are wheelchair accessible. The Phyllis Wattis Theater is on the ground floor of the building. Please note there is not a water fountain nearby, so we encourage guests to bring their own water bottles. There is no other food or drink allowed inside the theater.
 
The Phyllis Wattis Theater is not, by default, equipped with closed captioning or audio description devices.
