SFFILM Filmhouse is approximately a 20 minute walk from Civic Center BART station. Metered street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods, and is generally free after 6pm and on Sundays.

It is easy to navigate.

Are there steep hills?
No.

Are there ripped up sidewalks?
No.

Are there easily navigable curb cuts?
Yes.

Are there any special ways to get accessible seating?
SFFILM Filmhouse is located on the second floor of the building. There is an elevator in the rear of the building. A staff member is happy to escort you to the elevator, especially if it is your first time in the space!

Are there accessible bathroom stalls?
Yes. On the SFFILM Filmhouse level, there is a women and men’s restroom, both with ADA stalls. There is also an all-gender, ADA accessible restroom on the ground floor.

The Laureate Bar & Lounge

444 Presidio Ave, San Francisco, CA 94115

Public Transportation & Parking

The Laureate Bar & Lounge is accessible by Muni Lines 1, 2, 3, 24, 43, and 38. Metered street parking and some free two hour parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods. The Laureate is a 2 minute walk to the Vogue Theatre.

How easy is it to navigate the surrounding area for a wheelchair?
The sidewalks around the neighborhood are wide and accessible.

Are there steep hills?
There are some hills. Both Sacramento St and Presidio have fairly steep inclines.

Are there ripped up sidewalks?
No. The sidewalks are smooth and easy to navigate.

Are there any special entrances for wheelchair users?
Yes, the wheelchair entrance to the Laureate is closest to the driveway/the main entrance of the Laurel Inn hotel (the main entrance to the Laureate is at the corner of Presidio and California, up a set of stairs.) The ADA entrance is less than 20 ft. from the main entrance.

Are there accessible bathroom stalls?
Yes, both restrooms are accessible.
