Are there geographic restrictions limiting where a film can be viewed?

Doc Stories films are only viewable in the state of California.

When do films become available online?

A number of films in the 2022 Doc Stories program are available both in-person and online. Films will become available online at 12:01 am PT on Monday, November 7 through 11:59 pm PT on Tuesday, November 8.

Why aren’t certain titles streaming?

All films in the 2022 Doc Stories lineup were invited to the streaming portion of our program. Our streaming program is comprised of the titles that are able to participate at this time.

Which films are available to stream during Doc Stories?

The following titles are available to stream:

Jerry Brown: The Disrupter
Mickey: The Story of a Mouse
Sansón and Me
Shorts Block: Human Exposure
Shorts Block: New York Times Op-Docs

What is SFFILM’s COVID-19 Policy?

SFFILM prioritizes a safe and healthy environment for all of our guests, talent, and staff. MASKS
Masks are strongly recommended for in-theater events when not eating or drinking.

VACCINATIONS
We do not require proof of vaccination to attend our events.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. By attending SFFILM events, you expressly agree to comply with all rules and safety guidelines put in place by the event organizers, and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, waiving all claims and potential claims against the event organizers and their affiliated companies relating to such risks.
