SPL 2: A Time for Consequences
Description
If you like your genre films bursting with dazzling action choreography and jaw-dropping melodramatic twists, this one is for you. Between numerous and thrilling botched arrests, nervy shootouts and pressure-packed car chases, a twisting story set amidst the murky illegal organ-trafficking trade emerges. Ruthless crime boss Hung literally needs a new heart, but is having difficulty finding an organ donor matching his rare blood phenotype, putting his brother in an uncomfortable, vulnerable position. Meanwhile, undercover police officer Kit has infiltrated Hung’s organization only to be mistakenly imprisoned in Bangkok, left without a way of proving his true identity. His one chance at release seems to be prison guard Chai, whose daughter needs a bone marrow transplant to treat leukemia; Kit just happens to be a perfect donor match. A sequel in name only, SPL 2: A Time for Consequences ups the ante on the SPL franchise. Undeniably entertaining, it will keep you delightfully riveted until the unbelievable, satisfying end.
