Program Description

This cinematic collection of six films explores the act of sensing as a way of connecting with the world around us. Through immersive soundscapes, close observation, and distinct points of view, these filmmakers turn attention into revelation, drawing us closer to what might otherwise remain unseen, unheard, or forgotten. Moving between intimate memory and collective experience, they listen closely to the vanishing sounds of nature, look beneath what appears intact, uncover what has been buried by time, and bear witness to what can be taken or erased. As the world keeps moving, these films reveal what persists and how holding onto what remains can become an act of resistance. —Mariana Finelli
