Description

John Boyega cements his leading-man status in this mind-blowing adaptation of the award-winning novel. He plays Casi, an impassioned but volatile public defender, who stumbles onto a heist situation involving an impounded SUV containing heroin worth millions of dollars. With the help of two friends, he aims to liberate the stash while grappling with corrupt cops, violent cartel members, and a world possibly headed toward complete physical transformation. This World Premiere costars Olivia Cooke, Linda Lavin, Tim Blake Nelson, Ed Skrein and Bill Skarsgård.

Director Chase Palmer

Brooklyn-based filmmaker Chase Palmer burst onto the scene with a short film, Neo-Noir (2002), which played the Sundance Film Festival. He went on to establish himself as a screenwriter, adapting Stephen King’s It with Cary Joji Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman. In 2020, Variety named him to its list of “10 Directors to Watch.” Naked Singularity marks his feature directing debut.
