KPop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey use their secret identities as demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat. Together, they must face their biggest enemy yet—a rival boy band of demons in disguise.

ATTENDEE INFORMATION

This special event, hosted by SFFILM Education under its Family Programming initiative in collaboration with SFMOMA, is free and open to the public. Advance RSVP is required. Recommended for ages 8 and up. The film is rated PG by the MPAA for some sequences of action/violence, scary images, thematic elements, and some suggestive material. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Biographies

Animation Director Joshua Beveridge

Joshua Beveridge is the Head of Character Animation at Sony Pictures Imageworks, most recently completing work on KPop Demon Hunters, for Sony Pictures Animation and Netflix. Beveridge joined Imageworks in 2005 and his credits include: The Sea Beast, the Academy Award®-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Storks, Hotel Transylvania 2, Alice in Wonderland, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, I Am Legend, Surf’s Up, Open Season, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and Arthur Christmas. Beveridge attended the Ringling College of Art & Design and graduated with a degree in animation. He received a Visual Effects Society Award for his contribution to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and a nomination for I Am Legend. He is a member of AMPAS, VES, and ASIFA.
