Inventing Tomorrow
Description
Intel’s ISEF Fair is the science fair that kids all over the world want to qualify for. This inspirational and wildly entertaining documentary profiles the young scientists behind four projects and their hopes to win the top prize in their field. From the shy Muslim girls who invent an air filter for ships mining tin in Indonesia to the trio of endearing boys from Monterrey, Mexico, who develop paint that can absorb pollution, these future-focused wunderkinds inspire the science geek in us all.
“The word you’re going to see most associated with this film is ‘inspiring,’ and while it’s definitely that in a jump-out-of-your-seat kind of way, the overwhelming sense it instilled in me was one of relief. It felt like this is the cavalry that’s come to save us from ourselves. These extraordinary, driven, eco-compassionate children are cancelling the apocalypse.” – Scott Begs, Nerdist.com
“The optimism of Inventing Tomorrow is quite uplifting, with dauntless teenage thinkers from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds working with resourcefulness and imagination to develop practical solutions to local eco threats.” – David Rooney, The Hollywood Reporter
