Description

Danny only needs $200 more for the security deposit that will get her and her daughter out of their roadside tent and into an apartment. She has 24 hours to raise the money, but between braid styling and food delivery gigs, she should make it – until the day takes a disastrous turn. Ping-ponging across COVID-era Pacoima, CA, on roller skates, Danny races against numerous obstacles to reach her goal. Co-writer/co-director Kelley Kali plays the proud young widow with fierce determination in this poignant and hilarious drama.

Closed captioning is available for this film.
