Description

Returning home from prison after committing a heinous crime, Marvin struggles to find his footing in his former community, a tight-knit crowd that now shuns him. Desperately clinging to his hard-won sense of self and humility, Marvin must also contend with the steely gaze and ultimate judgment of his ailing mother (a sardonic Kathy Bates). Forgiveness presents itself in an unexpected love interest, as a fantastic ensemble cast mines the darkest corners of the heart.
