Originally from Lynchburg, VA and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Jason Carden got his start in the entertainment industry as a freelance producer for online corporate videos. He very quickly realized his mistake and made the transition into comedy, producing sketches and web series for UCB performers in New York. It was there that he met writer/director Maggie Carey and worked as an associate producer on her feature film debut “The To Do List”. Next, Jason was back in New York working as a coordinator for the digital shorts on Saturday Night Live. In late 2012 he was hired as a producer at Funny or Die, and in addition to producing many web exclusives he just completed work on a FoD short film entitled “Barbados” Jason is a big Batman fan and will gladly tell you all about it anytime you’d like.
