Biographies
Jordan Firstman is one of the most sought after multi-hyphenates working today. Most recently, Firstman wrote, directed, starred in, and produced the highly anticipated feature film Club Kid, which premiered at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival to critical acclaim. The film sold to A24 in an eight-figure deal and is set for a limited theatrical release on November 6, 2026.
In Winter 2025, Firstman starred in the hit HBO comedy series I Love LA, opposite Rachel Sennott, Josh Hutcherson, and Odessa A’Zion. The series premiered on November 2, 2025, to rave reviews and is currently in production for Season 2. Earlier that year, he also returned for Season 2 of the FX hit comedy series English Teacher and released his debut comedy concept album, Secrets. Inspired by his popular Instagram bit in which strangers submitted their deepest, darkest secrets for him to turn into songs, the album was released on April 11, 2025, via Capitol Records. Firstman previously received rave reviews for his star turn in Sebastián Silva’s Rotting in the Sun, which premiered at Sundance in 2023 and was later released by Mubi. Other acting credits include You People, Dave, and Ms. Marvel.
As a writer, Firstman has written for HBO Max’s Search Party, The Other Two, and Netflix’s Big Mouth, where he served as both a voice actor and consulting producer. He also directed multiple episodes of the Peabody-nominated series This Close. Additionally, Firstman wrote, directed, and starred in the short film Call Your Father, and directed, starred in, and co-wrote the short film Men Don’t Whisper.
