Description

Cass is a newcomer to San Francisco, attempting to find their way in a big city. With rigorous discipline Cass starts to build a new life: renting a studio, saving for the future, and maintaining two gigs as a server and nanny. Reserved and cautious, Cass yearns for connection, so when vivacious Kalli comes barreling into their life, bursting with sex appeal and bravado, Cass quickly lets down their guard. When Kalli suddenly asks Cass to watch her daughter Ari, Cass reluctantly agrees to the unusual request. Days pass leaving Cass to absorb new responsibilities and unexpected financial obligations while providing a safe space for Ari. Angry and confused by her mother’s absence, Ari’s reaction triggers unwelcome memories for Cass.
