San Francisco Film Society Previews 2011 Fall Programs, Launching in September with Brand New Festival of Films from Hong Kong

The San Francisco Film Society will present an ambitious, expanded array of programs in Fall 2011, commencing in September with the Grand Opening of San Francisco Film Society | New People Cinema and the inaugural Hong Kong Cinemafestival and wrapping December 14 with the world premiere of a newly commissioned score for Fritz Lang’s Spies performed live at the Castro Theatre.

The Disappearance of McKinley Nolan

Private McKinley Nolan vanished 40 years ago on the Cambodian frontier. In 2006, his younger brother travels from rural Texas to Vietnam to try to unravel the story in this moving documentary. Director Henry Corra expected at 6:45 and 9:00 pm screenings
