Description

Join SFFILM as we celebrate the beloved Snoopy and his pals, just in time for the dog days of summer. Created by Charles M. Shultz, Peanuts is one of the most popular and influential comic strips in history, with over 17K strips published in over 2,500 newspapers between 1950 and 2000. Since 2020, Apple TV has been keeping the Peanuts alive and well as the home of the beloved classic library. They have also been creating exciting new original programs since 2018, winning multiple awards and a whole new generation of young fans in the process. This screening will feature Episode 1 of Season 2 of Camp Snoopy and the exciting new special Snoopy Presents: There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy.

Camp Snoopy Season 2: Following in the Pawprints / Roughing It

Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts are looking forward to carefree time in the majestic landscape of Camp Spring Lake. Along with Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang, join Snoopy and the birds as they hike, swim and leap their way through another round of fun and adventure in the great outdoors!

Snoopy Presents: There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy

Mary will also do some live drawing of some favorite Peanuts characters with the audience, so be sure to bring your pencils and paper along. We will also have a representative from Best Friends Animal Society joining us to talk about animal shelters and pet adoption and the Charles M. Schultz museum has provided some fun raffle prizes.

The film program is about 55 minutes. Plus a Q&A and live drawing of around 25 minutes.
