Join us to help honor and celebrate the local people and organizations that make the Bay Area such a special place for filmmakers, exhibitors, and film lovers.

This year’s Essential SF honorees include: Bay Area Video Coalition Youth Program, Brown Girls Doc Mafia, Cinema SF, Pam Grady, Jen Rainin, and Brooke Wentz.

You are welcome to join us for the Bay Area Filmmakers Reception (BAFR) to mingle with Festival filmmakers, local film adjacent organizations, and Festival staff, where light refreshments will be served.
