Description
Irresistible garage rock enhances this dreamy queer coming-of-age tale as teenage bass player Manu (Martín Miller), swept up in a cascade of emotions and hormones, falls in love with his BFF and bandmate Felipe (Teo Inama Chiabrando). While Manu experiments sexually with his girlfriend Azul (Azul Mazzeo), thoughts of Felipe consume his fantasies. The boys are together every day: at school, band practice, songwriting sessions, and football on the beach. As the band prepares to perform publicly, Manu comes to terms with his sexuality and embraces his love of music. Softly lit cinematography, Emilio Cervini’s evocative soundtrack, and sweet, loving performances enrich this slow-burn teen romance. With his first feature, Argentinian director Mariano Biasin delivers a beautiful story of acceptance.
