SUMMARY:Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom
DESCRIPTION:Over the years\, SFFILM Education has had the honor of celebrating the work of beloved animation studio Aardman Animations\, and we are always thrilled to present their newest work. Founded in 1976\, Aardman are best know for such iconic titles as Chicken Run\, Wallace & Gromit\, and Early Man. Their numerous awards and accolades include four Oscars and 18 BAFTAs. Shaun the Sheep was first introduced to audiences in the 1995 short film A Close Shave. Since then\, he has become one of their breakout stars with feature films (all screened with SFFILM) of his own along with the long running television series. \nShaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom sees the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm looking forward to Halloween – until the clumsy Farmer trashes the Flock’s beloved pumpkin patch! When Shaun turns MAD SCIENTIST to fix the problem\, things rapidly spiral out of control. With The Farmer missing and a wild beast roaming the woods of Mossingham\, all the ingredients are in place for a monstrously fun family adventure. \nGKIDS will be releasing the film in theaters on September 18. \nAttendee Information\nThis special event\, hosted by SFFILM Education under its Family Programming initiative in collaboration with SFMOMA\, is free and open to the public. Advance RSVP is required. Recommended for ages 5 and up. The film is rated PG by the MPAA for mild scary action.
