SFFILM is accepting requests for accreditation for the 2020 San Francisco International Film Festival (April 8–21) from film industry professionals and representatives of media arts organizations whose activities may directly benefit the films and filmmakers in the Festival.
There are two types of accreditation available:
1. Industry Accreditation This badge is reserved for professionals from acquisitions, sales, distribution, and exhibition organizations. Availability is limited. There is a maximum of two industry badges per organization. The fee is $75. Benefits include:
- One complimentary ticket per regular Festival screening, up to three per day, subject to availability. This does not include access to Opening and Closing Night films and parties, Live & Onstage programs, awards, or tributes.
- If advance tickets are not available, this badge may be used in the Rush line for complimentary access; admission to Rush screenings is based on availability.
- Purchase up to two tickets at the SFFILM member price.
2. Community Accreditation This badge is intended for professionals in arts & culture, travel, and local government. The fee is $30. Benefits include:
- One complimentary ticket per regular Festival screening when there are still tickets available 30 minutes before screening time. This does not include access to Opening and Closing Night films and parties, Live & Onstage programs, awards, and tributes.
- If advance tickets are not available, this badge may be used in the Rush line for complimentary access; admission to Rush screenings is based on availability.
- Purchase up to two tickets at the SFFILM member price.
The deadline to apply for Industry accreditation is Wednesday, March 25. Applications submitted after this date will be subject to a $25 late fee.
If your application is approved, you will be contacted by the Industry Office to process your application fee. Accreditation in all categories is granted at the sole discretion of SFFILM; badges are name-specific and non-transferable.
